• Tony Matharu has over 20  years of experience successfully delivering programmes and propositions on behalf of telco and non-telco clients globally
• Current and previous clients include:  Tesco Telecoms (home phone, VOIP, broadband, double play), Nokia Middle East and North Africa, eBay Europe, British Petroleum (BP), VF Corporation Europe, Levi Strauss & Company, Etihad Airways, Royal Bank of Canada, Burgan Bank (Kuwait), Abu Dhabi Oil Corporation, Universal Music Canada, British Airways, Iberia Airways and others
• Tony has directly worked with telecom industry partners including Cable and Wireless, Virgin Media, Hansen Technology UK/AU, FreshTel AU, Vertex Data Sciences, Tiscali, Cerillion, NetLynk, MetraTech and others
• Tony has a deep understanding of bringing new and refreshed strategic propositions to market and an expertise in holistically implementing technology and systems based solutions
• Tony has brought the following telecom based (VNO) propositions to market:
– Tesco internet phone re-launch (VOIP)
– Tesco home phone CPS and WLR launch and migration
– Hostile BSS/OSS systems migration
– Double play enabling technology solution (VISP)
– Customer service centre migrations
• Tony has developed and rolled out frameworks and tool kits and ran a number of RFP’s for clients including
– A new Go To Market proposition including all frameworks and tool kits for VF Corp’s Wrangler Jeans EU unit
– An integrated marketing communication proposition including all frameworks/tool kits for Wrangler Jeans EU
– Led a number of client side RFP’s for Levi Strauss Europe, Hewlett Packard EU, Tesco Telecoms, Nokia Middle East and North Africa and Etihad Airways
• Tony has brought the following non-telecom propositions to market
– A loyalty and CRM proposition for Nokia Middle East and North Africa – from design to implementation
– Designed a youth loyalty programme for Burgan Bank (Kuwait)
– Frequent flyer programme, CRM and sales force automation propositions and implementations for Etihad Airways, British Airways and Iberia Airways
• Tony has degrees in Urban Studies from the University of Toronto (University College) and from the School of Applied Geography, Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada).
