Toby has an extensive knowledge of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications industry with considerable experience of international, multi-million, business development gained from over 25 years operational experience.
Toby worked at wireless industry leaders Orange & Vodafone for over 13 years where he used world-class best practices and methodologies to introduce new services, drive record service levels and improve the end 2 end customer experience. Toby is Prince 2 qualified and certified Six Sigma Green Belt, ITIL Service Level Practitioner and holds the ITIL Managers Certificate (Red Badge).
Toby managed the Vodafone UK Business Risk Register & developed risk mitigation strategies 2003 to 2005. He delivered multiple Service Improvement projects for Vodafone including identifying areas to increase revenue by re-engineering fixed line fibre and microwave radio links that saved 4 million GBP.
At Orange UK Toby set up and led the Wholesale Service Management Department and was the Business Partner between IT and the Wholesale Business Unit where he developed Service Management strategy and was accountable for maintaining & exceeding Service Levels, KPIs, Quality of Service and improving the performance of Orange Wholesale Products and services that generated >£100 million revenue per year.
Toby delivered multiple Service Improvement projects for Orange UK – including a Billing project that saved 1.6 million GBP, provisioning project that increased throughput by 57%  and Steering of Roaming project that saved  50 million GBP.
Toby was part of  the Service Management Transition team  for the Orange to ISP Wanadoo (known as Freeserve in the UK until 2004) merger during 2006 creating a single brand offering convergence of mobile telecommunications and internet services.
Toby successfully introduced new Wholesale telecom services into the Orange UK production network from 2006 to 2010 by project managing Service Transition & Operational Readiness for: H3G National Roaming, MVNO Blyk, MVNO IDT, MVNE Transatel, MVNO Lycamobile, MVNO GlobalCell & MVNO Now Mobile.
Toby set up the PMO and managed a Telecoms Prepay Programme for a Oil & Gas Company with multiple suppliers across multiple work streams (including eCommerce & Loyalty Card) across multiple countries in Turkey during 2010/11.
During 2012 Toby assisted O2 with best practice Service Design, Service Transition & Service Management of new and changed Financial Services into the Live Business Environment.

Most recently during 2013, Toby Programme Managed start up MVNO LIFE Mobile for Phones 4U and also launched Asda Mobile on the EE network.
